Too much computer and cell phone use and little movement lead me to try acupuncture, massage, some physical therapy and even dry needling to try to give me relief to my shoulders’ pain and limited range of motion and sleep disturbances. Simply, it didn’t. Finally, my PT told me my only thing left was to strength train. I had zeros on my assessment. They referred me to The Gym and after just a couple of months I am 90%+ back to normal. :) My range of motion is so much better. I feel better and even look better! It took some mental work and some physical to just decide to show up twice to three time a week. I decided to invest in myself. I have semi one on one training and couldn’t be more thankful with these coaches, as I literally thought I was going to have to live with pain or even have surgery. In 2023, I had surgery which relieved me of five years of debilitating pain from a neurological condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia. I woke up from the surgery pain free with a new beginning and had my life back. Now it was time to try to get my physical health back as the disease had left me almost bed ridden from the pain. Over the past year, the coaches at the Gym have helped me gain my abilities back. I’ve lost weight, I have good balance again, I feel stronger, and I’ve learned how to properly position myself during weight bearing exercises. I love the personalized attention they show me and really appreciate their positive reinforcement. They meet me where I am rather than push me to do something that will make me very sore which would have discouraged me. We’re a team. The Gym in Lost Pines feels like family and I’m truly grateful for all they have done for me. I’m so glad I made the commitment for myself! Thank you Coaches Bahareh, Jeff, Nicole, and Seena! The staff/trainers and Seena are incredibly attentive and supportive of everyone's unique training goals and I feel I can work out at my own pace, even during a small group workout session(occasionally I will be the only one in the small group workout and so, I will get a one-on-one training experience). I’ve been a member of The Gym In Lost Pines for the past 6 months, and I’ve had a great experience so far. The gym is conveniently located in downtown of Bastrop. The equipment is top-notch — plenty of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. The facility is always clean, and I appreciate that they maintain it well. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are always welcoming. The trainers are knowledgeable, and encouraging. Seena really takes the time to create a personalized plan for each individual. I’ve also taken the Metabolic class on Saturday mornings. The energy is good and music is hyped!! The coaches are engaging and make sure everyone feels comfortable, regardless of skill level. I’m 56 and at one time, when I was younger, I spent quite a bit of time in the gym. Prior to joining Lost Pines I was at another gym and on my own. I wasted too much time and money there. My 90 days here has been a true blessing. Nothing hurts and my muscle tone and overall health has greatly improved. Thank you for talking me into this Seena!
