What Fitness After 40 Means

Fitness After 40 is what we are all about at The Gym in Lost Pines.  This in and of itself serves as a conversation piece with newcomers; sometimes all people want is affirmation that this fitness center is not just something that ‘sounds good’, but is actually good.

A Fitness After 40 gym means…
  • That we serve you first as professionals – because that is who you are and that is what you have come to expect. You are met by name.  Our team knows why you are here and how to help you.  We know that we have a job to do and there are no down service hours.
  • That communication is of primary importance. We need you to know what we mean, keep you informed, and to make you feel heard.  This is an important aspect of a training gym and the coach-led experience.
  • That we are ambitious with your health and fitness, and will do everything we can to make sure that you succeed. We take responsibility in your success (and failure) and celebrate your milestones.
  • That we are honest with you with regard to intentions, expectations, and feedback. You, as the member, serve to complete the experience with input so that we will continually improve and provide first-class service.
  • That we teach you fitness as a discipline rather than a trend. We are developing habits that will positively impact your body (and mind) and better your lives, not provide a temporary fix.
  • That passion shows in everything that we do. With this our members are able to build stronger attachments to their fitness, and this makes the process very rewarding.
  • That we have built a gym entirely for you, the client. Equipment and service are synonymous.  Space is inviting, practical, and safe.  The experience has been made and prepared for you, rather than preparing you for the experience of what gyms are known for
